For me, capturing family photos is about more than just creating a nice image. It’s about preserving moments of love, connection, and togetherness—things that mean everything in our communities. As an Indigenous woman, I know how important it is to document our families, to see ourselves reflected with pride and care. These photos become part of our story, something to hold onto and pass down to the next generation.
